My oh my how things have changed in 1 short year!!

1. The Master P is real. Phase 1 will be approved this week. Dirt will be turned over shortly thereafter.

2. CUSA is NOT our end game. Do you really think our guys would make plans for a 60K stadium just for the fun of it?? N F Way.

3. There isnt another university in this state aside from LSU wit as much upside as we do.

4. Dr Savoie is dumb like a fox. I was guilty of doubting this man. This guy will make it happen.

In closing..."the separation continues, just not how some thought!" BAHAHAHAHA!

Our goal is beyond C USA, but we have to get to C USA before there can be any serious upgrades, in fact IMO reach the MWC, or the new AAC is needed to get any better than the also rans.

For Instance, I would like to stay affiliated with:

1. Arkansas State
2. Middle Tennessee
3. South Alabama

and that's about it.

That's like putting lipstick on a pig as far as I'm concerned. If UL is left behind in the Sunbelt while UNT, MTSU, FIU, and possibly Ark ST join La Tech in securing invitations from the Alliance, the Cajun athletic program will take a huge hit. Don't kid yourself, this Alliance thing could possibly be the worst thing that has ever happened to UL athletics.

One year later and I don't even remember the "Alliance", or who it was that was supposed to be in it. I don't remember why I was worried about ASU at the time either. Oh well, this entire thread is depressing to go back and read. It should be deleted.
