Ratings are secondary to telling recruits that you play on national TV.

Just an FYI and not sure if it could still change, but the press release from RaginCajuns.com has both midweek games on Tuesday.

I really like being on national television, but I don't like it for mid week games. If it's on the road, no big deal, but we'll loose a lot of $ at the gate, our stadium will not be full, and our average attendance numbers will suffer. I don't think we'll meet Hud's challenge to meet the 35,000 average because of this game. I know it sounds cool to be on TV, but when you consider all of the plusses and minuses, I just don't think it works in our favor. OK, that's my 2 cents.

With all the "new" fans we gained from the New Orleans Bowl, we will make the 35,000 average.
