With this news coming out, I just renewed my RCAF membership and upped the donation. I can do without beer for a while anyway.

Damn, I have to buy season tickets this year. Thats the only bad part about graduating lol.
The UL Ragin’ Cajun football squad will be featured twice on national television in consecutive games this fall, according to a report on espn1420.com. Following a stellar 2011 season and dramatic win last December in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl ...
I really like being on national television, but I don't like it for mid week games. If it's on the road, no big deal, but we'll loose a lot of $ at the gate, our stadium will not be full, and our average attendance numbers will suffer. I don't think we'll meet Hud's challenge to meet the 35,000 average because of this game. I know it sounds cool to be on TV, but when you consider all of the plusses and minuses, I just don't think it works in our favor. OK, that's my 2 cents.
We could get additional TV dates. The two weekday games are on the ESPN family. That does not include the SBC network telecasts. We are likley to be on there twice.
Well I have to agree it could be difficult to get great attendance, but if we take care of business we will have a full stadium, most importantly time to prepare for the game, and be on national television alone with our opponents two straight weeks. You cannot buy that brother.
I like the dates for OSU, and UF, I like the open dates, I pretty much love this schedule except for the fact that it will tax our fan base. If we win LU, TooLame, NT, and lose to OSU the stadium will be pretty full. If we upset OSU and win the rest the stadium will be rocking.
For selfish reasons, I will miss playing MT this year. Its always a good game between our schools and the people from MT are great.
I wonder if they're going to do a blackout? That might help our attendance significantly
