Time for fans to flock to Cajundome

I'll start coming to the games once I pay off my credit card (New Orleans Bowl, Softball and Baseball tickets which all hit at once. )

Sure, we're seeing more fans, but why the heck are we not seeing more students? LSU football is long over. And I know they aren't traveling to Baton Rouge to watch LSU basketball. So where are they? Not to sound so hypocritical, but I truly believe our student section is PATHETIC. Yea, that's right, students. I'm calling you out. You have the opportunity to park for free and not pay for tickets. You get in FREE, damn it! Come support your school! There are plenty of open seats for you. And maybe, just maybe, you might get picked out of the crowd to shoot a THREE for $1000 (or however much it is). Everybody, come one, come all! Come to the Cajun Dome tonight at 7:05!!!

If the other 90% aren't on here, then they should be. They might figure out that there is a enormous group of fans like me and you who love the Cajuns through thick and thin. Like a lot of others, I wish we had more support. There's a great program with great players who are doing all they can and they need us and more student support. The students who do show for games do a fantastic job, but there should be more than the small amount I've seen at games.

The faithful are here. We are the ones in the know. The rest of Lafayette has no idea whats going on. Thats the athletic department to advertise it... thats our job to get our friends and relatives on board.


How many commercials have you heard on ESPN1420 promoting tonight?

Was KATC or KLFY at the Cajundome this morning stating how important tonight is?

Have you seen any commercials running during the 5pm, 6pm or 10pm news?
