The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns basketball's stunning new court was revealed at the Cajundome on Tuesday after months of designing, planning, and building. The one-of-a-kind court design was modeled on the trees of Louisiana's Cypress Swamp.

The court, part of $22 million in renovations to the Cajundome made its debut on Thursday in a basketball doubleheader with Louisiana earning a 74-55 win over Xavier (N.O.) in the women's game with the Ragin' Cajuns defeating Nicholls State, 101-69, in the men's contest.

Watch a time-lapse of the court being built at Praters Flooring in Chattanooga, Tenn., over several months before being transported to the Cajundome for assembly last week.
