Yes I understand that and if I said ranked it is not what I meant. I meant the 5th pick in the bowl order for CUSA tie-ins. The other CUSA bowl eligible teams that I did not mention I figured would be taken before the N.O. Bowl makes it's selection. The only other team from CUSA that might be sent to N.O. would be SMU and that would be if the other bowls would pass on them because of geographic reason and SMU would be a good fit for N.O.

I know my wife and I will be there and my sister and her husband plan on coming on down from Dallas to make the game they did make one game this year. So I can account for four. I see us bringing at least 25000 would be my guess time will tell.

You may be able to buy tickets tuesday but they may not actually sell out right till Wednesday bc remember they have to fill all the pre-sold tickets which at last count a few weeks ago was 6,000 who knows how many they will have now that people are certain where we are going. I'm bringing 30 people and half or more have not been to one home game yet this season.

While I was in new Orleans this summer we tried a place uptown on magazine that was on food buddah. It's called Baru bistro. It's a Latin caribbean tapas place but AMAZING! It's on my list of eats every time we go now and the neat part is they don't have a alcohol license so you can bring your own alcohol! ($8 cork fee for wine). Here's the website if anybody is interested! http://barutapas.com/
If you like tapas try Rio Mar for lunch. http://www.riomarseafood.com/

A good meal can be had without breaking the bank. I've never had the chance but Johnny's Po-Boys is a local favorite. Also a Muffallete at Central Grocery is around 10.00.

Also the lunch menus like at K-Paul's are around the 10.00 mark!

  9. Default Seeing red from Cajuns' sales

There's a renewed buzz around the UL Ragin' Cajuns football team this fall as first-year head coach Mark Hudspeth has led the team to an 8-3 record, a perfect record at Cajun Field and a postseason bowl berth. But the excitement isn't just ...

I feel there will be at least 30000 cajun strong. If they bring in a team that will bring people and the locals could be 50000.
