Hey JP, have you ever been this excited about the Cajuns recruiting? What do you think about Coach Hud loading up on defensive guys? Defense wins Sunbelt Championships.

With the recruits being asked to get paperwork in by 8 a.m., I expect the fax machine to be humming soon. I'll be updating here and on Twitter:

It's definitely been an interesting stretch since coach Hud took the job. He's convinced some talented guys - at least on paper - to join the program. And like the previous staff, he's got some guys that need to develop. That's really not too unusual for this level. The biggest difference is that those projectable guys are a bit bigger, taller, longer, etc., than in the past.

Allow me to try and temper your pessimism....

The kids seemingly ripped Tennessee's camp apart according to JB, and was a mid year transfer to Oxford. The school that should be embarrassed by this is UAB.

I believe the Cajuns will quickly pass up UAB and Memphis as they have appeared to lost their way.

I know scheduling is a 2 way street but we gotta find a way to get a home and home with Memphis and UAB.

What are your thoughts on this group? Heavy on Mississippi and Louisiana kids.

UAB has been embarrassed a lot lately, so it's kind of par for the course ...

Just heard from CB Sean Thomas out of New Orleans: He's sent in his signed paperwork.

Josh I personally don't care where kids are from as long as we are winning. Lol
