    Stringer's comment about Holman shows the imperfections of the star system. Kid has no stars due to a roving past. Yet he may be one of the best athletes in the class.

    Holman's also got some polishing to do on his skills. While he's a great athlete, that doesn't mean he's ready to contribute as a starter.

    I agree that Holman is likely a redshirt candidate. That does not mean he won't play the year after. Only point us over the course of a career he will likely contribute more than his recruiting ranking (or non-ranking in this case) would indicate.

    What is the status of the kid from Abbeville that transferred from Arkansas? I think his name is Jelani Smith. Is he enrolled in school & will he be offerred a scholarship? Wasn't he a 3 star recruit?
