The Cajuns didn't want another school to find him and scoop him up. He had slipped under the radar after moving to Mississippi.

Consider that he was found by some schools late in the process, meaning most/all scholarships were used for a lot of the big boys. He is from Tennessee, lived in Alabama and is now in Mississippi, which explains all of those schools that offered. Memphis had gone hard after him recently.

he absolutely tore up the Tennessee camp. Dooley wanted him bad, but you know we got that bubble that keeps us hidden here. I was asked to keep quiet about him so i did. Good kid with a very good work ethic. Bigtime talent
