Actually, it is not correct. Air Raid is a spread offense. Success in Air Raid requires your QB to NEVER run.

The term 'spread offense' refers to line splits by the offensive line. It has nothing to do with what plays, groups of plays or systems are run out of it.

Literally everything from Air Raid through Veer through true triple option has been run from the spread.

For the record, I could not care less what you call it. My point is still quite valid.

And, just what would you call the offense that we've been running for 9 years? That Hudspeth runs?

Three other sources have said that Hudspeth took the job. And ESPN's Joe Schad tweeted that Hudspeth is the new coach - after I called to talk with him about what he's hearing and tweeted about it 15 minutes earlier.
