I can't confirm or deny truth to that. But the rumor I heard is not Viator.
It is either Hudspeth or Sewak, not sure which is 1 and which is the backup.

Wow, so we know who it WASN'T, just not who it was...

So if someone can help eliminate about 6 others, we've got our guy.

If you heard a rumor from someone else, it is likely false. Less than a handful of people know if an actual offer was made (and I am not one of them). Until you hear it from one of those people, do not believe any rumors you hear.
People need to quit speculating or going off the latest rumor of the day. David and Scott are doing their due diligence to bring in the best possible coach to UL. When they come to an agreement and make an offer and the candidate accepts, then we will all know who the next coach is.
The person who said a coach has been offered is a part of that handful of people. Why are you always so defensive with David and Scott? I see no posts on this thread where anyone is getting ugly towards either of them, just excitement about the search winding down. Besides, how can you tell people they are just speculating when you yourself are not even utilizing all the resources that are out there to gain information?
With all the other coaching firings and retirings, more positions are opening up. Any delays could be in our top candidates waiting to see what other possible offers are out there. Speculation is part of the fun and excitement of going thru a coaching change for people on this board or at least to me. We'll find out soon enough. I only hope it is a dynamic enough coach that everyone can get excited about and immediately start to rejuvinate community and alumni support of this program.
