What if it is going to be aired? Will the freakin' world end? Will this be the nail in the coffin for all people in Louisiana?

The Apocalyptic attitude is ridiculous.

Why is it that Louisiana can re-elect criminals as politicians, but this, a rooster dance, is the thing that is most embarrassing?

Why is it that the state's health care budget and education budgets are getting slashed, but this is the most embarrassing?

Why is it that our state is at or near the bottom in terms of literacy, and near the top in terms of poverty, but this is the most embarrassing?

Why is it that our roads, streets, and highways are in such disarray, but somehow, our politicians are getting pay raises and free tickets to LSU games, but this is the most embarrassing?

There are bigger problems, much more embarrassing in this state.

And, again, I still don't see how this is embarrassing this.

The rooster may be a great Krewe Da Chew tradition but please do not confuse that with a great Ragin Cajun tradition which is what ESPN would potray it as if it were to be aired on pre game. Which I happen to think would not be fair to the other 20k at Cajun feild. If ESPN were to film you guys at any other point in your tailgate when people are not dressed like chickens scratching in the barn yard I think that would be a perfect example of Cajun tailgating tradition! _

So... now it's "not fair" that something has garnered attention? Come on. Are you really gonna argue for "equal time for all tailgaters"?

Have any of you considered the possibility that the ESPN folks were actually gonna partake of the food and fun that we host as well?

If not.... maybe ESPN is going to show what they find interesting.

Funny thing is, I actually got to talk to the Manhattan, KS reporter who came down here last year, ate some great food, and participated in the Chicken Dance and had a BALL!!

AS for "who was their first does it really matter. We pay for the spot just like you" That was only said because Bird said "if you don't like it just stay away". So he is telling me not to tail gate at my friends spot as if he owns the freaking place.

I said no such thing. I said if you don't like it, don't come by. By that I meant the Krewe tent.

If you want to tailgate with your friends near our tent, do so. When the roosta begins, you turn your back to it.

I NEVER suggested that you couldn't come into the area.

You could at least be fair when you decide to hammer me.
