As for the offense, a healthy dose of option football will be in order Friday for the reasons you stated. _

Watch the first series defensively to see how the coaches are planning for this game. We blitzed over 70% of all defensive plays last week. A&M had tremendous success with their blitz last weekend and they made the QB very uneasy in the pocket and he made mistakes. If we play aggressive and blitz and get to him, the staff may be entering this game with the intention of pulling out all the stops. At least I hope so.

Is their QB mobile. I saw several instances against NT where Dodge "dodged" a would be sack because of his mobility. I liked the pressure we got.

Just an observation: Derek Dean is a really fast for his size and build. I guess that's why he's been starting so long.

We are not going to run our way to a win, I can guarantee you that. OK ST. will be more athletic and faster. My opinion of course, our only chance is for Mason to have a great day passing, aggressive defense with exceptional tackling, and a few turnovers going our way. If we can run the ball, I'm all for it and we should try throughout the game, but we cannot expect to run all over Ok. state. Our receivers will need to step it up for this game.

I will take UL (+40). This will not be a good game to watch.

Our passing game had better involve quick throws because if Masson has to sit in the pocket to throw the ball downfield every time, he will be either rushed or sacked given the play of our O line and it will get ugly quickly. And, let's hope Ladarius Green can play and some other receivers step up and actually make a few catches. Utilize our running backs in the passing game more like we did in the first half of the UNT game. Too many 3 and outs will cause our defense to be on the field too long and they will eventually breakdown and easy scoring will take place. OSU has scored 65 points on both Washington State and Tulsa. We need some sustained drives to eat up the clock to keep this close.
