IDK, we sure didnt cover against Georgia. I know different circumstances but I'm leery of that spread. We shall see.

I would jump on OSU. I thought the line would be +28.

I would reluctantly take OSU. If our players are watching this forum, I hope they read all the comments and take it out on the field to show those like myself that we're dead wrong. However, that offense at OSU scares me to death and until I see coach Bustle enter a game like this and allow the playbook to be opened up a bit, I think we will struggle offensively. I think we can do some things against them but the gameplan has to produce some misdirection and screens to negate their team speed on defense and we have to run the ball if we want a shot. Let's not forget that their offensive weapons are some of the best in the country. Kendall Hunter and Justin Blackmon are phenomenal.

    Keys to pulling the upset:

    1. Get to QB = A&M made their QB look completely human in the first half when they got pressure on him.
    2. Run the ball = You can't close games out and keep the opposing offense off the field if you can't run the ball
    3. Big Plays = I think we can do something against their defense if we can spread some guys out and let them make plays like this past weekend. We need to occassional big play to move the chains and keep the field position in our favor.

Normally, I would say attack the QB as much as you can, but we tried that against Georgia with no success. The smart play here might be to just bend and don't break.

As for the offense, a healthy dose of option football will be in order Friday for the reasons you stated.

The cajuns win over ksu @ home must be keeping the line down. I figured 30+

Watch the first series defensively to see how the coaches are planning for this game. We blitzed over 70% of all defensive plays last week. A&M had tremendous success with their blitz last weekend and they made the QB very uneasy in the pocket and he made mistakes. If we play aggressive and blitz and get to him, the staff may be entering this game with the intention of pulling out all the stops. At least I hope so.

Is their QB mobile. I saw several instances against NT where Dodge "dodged" a would be sack because of his mobility. I liked the pressure we got.

Just an observation: Derek Dean is a really fast for his size and build. I guess that's why he's been starting so long.
