Cajuns lineup: CF Olasin/RF Goulas/DH Poirrier/C Keefer/3B Frederick/LF Fuselier/1B Robichaux/SS Fontenot/2B Bostick. Cajuns are 37-19.

Checked the RPI numbers again: WKU is No. 39. The Sun Belt is tied for No. 6 with Big East.

Top of 1st: Goulas reaches on one-out single to center, but Poirrier and Keefer fly out to center. Keefer to warning track. It's 0-0.

Bott of 1st: MTSU gets two on. McDade hit and Guidry with single. But Osborne strikes out Skinner with runners on 1st and 3rd. It's 0-0.

Top of 2nd: Robichaux reaches on a two-out error by shortstop Ryan Ford. But Edwards gets Fontenot to fly out to center. It's still 0-0.

Bott of 2nd: Osborne allows a two-out single to center by Robertson but bounces back to strike out Ford. We're still scoreless.

Top of 3rd: The Cajuns cooking with 2-out BB by Goulas and Poirrier 1B. But Edwards Ks Keefer looking with runners on 1st and 3rd. Still 0-0

Bott of 3rd: Not good for Cajuns. McDade smacks a solo homer off Osborne for a 1-0 lead with one out.

Bott of 3rd: Middle Tennessee scores game's first run on McDade's solo homer off Osborne for 1-0 lead. The Cajuns need to generate some O.

Top of 4th: Robichaux reaches on a two-out walk. Fontenot flies out to center. That's the fifth stranded runner for Cajuns, who trail 1-0.

Bott of 4th: Middle Tennessee gets one on after Miller's 2-out bloop single to center. Osborne gets Robertson ground out. Cajuns down 1-0.

Top of 5th: Edwards gets the Cajuns to go three-up, three-down. The clock is starting to tick with Cajuns down 1-0. Only 2 hits for Cajuns.

Bott of 5th: The Cajuns can't get anything going. Keefer with 1-out single. Frederick hits into double play. Tick, tick. Cajuns down 1-0.

Spotted ex-Cajun baseball player William Long in the stands. Kicked off team a few weeks ago after getting arrested for fight. Has graduated

Bott of 6th: Skinner makes it 2-0 for MTSU with RBI single off Osborne. Ryland Parker working in bullpen. Osborne deserves better.
