OK OK OK ---I am just wondering what is the least we have to do to make the show???????--We have the Cows. and 3 against Monroe (all on the road)---Boy do they hate us and will play their ass off------I don't know if these things are factored in the great scheme of things------But we better be ready---if things work out --do we need a good conference showing to get there???? I only want Brian's answer---lol!!!!! BTW I heard it mentioned that we have applied to host ---what would we need for that??????

I'd say win and at least stay in 2nd place all alone. And then win in the tourney...can't 2 and BBQ! Maybe brain can fill us in about next weekend....how it would affect our rpi. I don't think we want to loose any against a team with there rpi

I would say without a doubt I think were in. We just took our 5th, wait or is it 6th straight conference series. We have lost 3 games since, since...man its been so long. We are almost guaranteed a top 3 finish in the sun belt. Next week we have a chance to win the sun belt title with two losses from FAU. Our RPI is getting boosts all over the place. But I think what we have done over the past 2 months is tantamount to a regional appearance. RPI isnt everything to the committee.

This team cant just rest on its laurels, no, now its time to go even further, try for a regular season title, then conference title. Then its regional time. I dont know about everyone else, but this team feels magical. They have it. Its duct taped, held together by twine, and been repainted a few times, but this team has it. Get excited if your not already there. What I saw this weekend was a team that no one in the country would want to face. Geaux Cajuns, ULM is next on the victims list.

I think you may be onto something here............ This weekend showed me a ton... Ozzie pitched great Friday night and we lost a gut wrencher.... then Saturday night we take a lead and see it evaporate.... 6th inning and we suddenly find ourselves down 2.... But the team would not quit. Then today we fall behind again.... and again the team would not quit.... from 14-14 this team has been fighting to be something special. The next few weeks still have to play out but I think they are on the verge of being special......

Kudos to this team, and the homecrowd. Friday(as well as all weekend) was just great college baseball. Two great arms going at it. The thing that I'm most impressed with was the grit, determination, or whatever word u wanna use, when things turned on us and looked like they may not go our way. There were a few times over the course of the weekend when it looked like it may be slipping away, but we always managed to come back strong. And I can't say enough about how impressive TFred has been. He has got to be freshman of the year

We have road sweeps at UALR and UNO. ULM is sandwiched between the two in conference standings, so nothing would punctuate this special season better than to sweep the Warhawks on their own turf!

    I'm liking our chances.

While I would love to see TFred win that award, Jabari Henry of FIU will probably win it.

Note ULM cannot qualify for the conference tournament. Therefore they have nothing to play for except pride. Of course that is the most important reason you play to begin with and although their season will end Sunday, they would love to spoil our season. Teams in situations like that can be dangerous. On the other hand, if you get a lead on them they may not respond well due to their circumstance.
