The winning percentage is less of a concern to me because of the situation we constantly find ourselves in having to play money games to support our lack of private funding and anemic athletic budget. Also, the first few years was simply trying to get past the position that Baldwin put us in so I don't fault him for that.

Yeah, definitely. Baldwin sucked, Bustle is undoubtedly better, but is he good enough? I appreciate what he's done to take us to this point, I just think we may need someone else to take us to the next level.

You will continuously run into the same problem of trying to find out who you can convince to come here who has any credibility whatsoever. We don't have the budget to pay an up and coming coordinator so you would basically have to take a flyer on somebody and hope it pans out. That can sometimes be worse than sticking with who you have.

Guys, guys. These past two games were money games. We were underdogged by plus 20 in each game. Lets rewind to after the Kstate game. Because to me these two games are a necessary evil. Money games are a dirty part of NCAA sports but we have to deal with it. Money games usually end the way ours did. I think we did well against LSU, and I think Bustle kinda shelved the playbook and wanted to get to 000 on the clock against Nebraska without anyone really hurt. The real season begins on Oct. 10th. We need 5 more wins to be a bowl team. A healthy defense, and a well oiled offense I think we can get there. North Texas looks beatable. FIU looks beatable. We get FAU at home we can beat them. ULM is at home we can beat them. Troy is not who they were last year and we get em at home. Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee are pretty good but our D is good so I think we have a chance. 2-2 in Non conference is honestly better than a bunch of us thought we would be. So lets get our panties unbunched, and rally behing this team for North Texas. Stuff your worries about us losing to two ranked teams by alot in the trash. Sun Belt play is our season.

If the weather is good we should have 30k at Cajun Field for North Texas. If we as fans cant get up for a big game then why even play the damn thing.

It's not that we lost. Its that we looked awfully terrible doing it. I've seen some bowel movements that looked better than what I saw tonight. We gave ourselves no chance at success and it seemed like we had our minds elsewhere. It has nothing to do with losing but rather the ease for which Nebraska was able to do it.

Like I said earlier, I'm not losing my sense of reality on this. I'm just very disappointed in how we looked tonight.

I was dissapointed also. But man they are a power team. We cant stack up to a power team. We are just too undersized. LSU is a finesse team and they are poorly coached. We really gave them more than they wanted for a money game. But this was a bad matchup, and they were running on rocket fuel. Dissapointing yes, time to get out the rosary no. We got 2 weeks to prepare for NT. Lets throw this game in the dumpster and move on.

The next 8 games are more important than the first 4. Just keeping reminding yourself of that.
