This year is all that's left. Let the argument begin. I will not give an opinion until mid-way through conference. We skull drug Southern, upset KSU, played more than decent against LSU, and got handled by Nebraska. Now, let's see what happens when we play teams on our level.

i agree, you should never settle for mediocrity. There is always possibility of becoming a great team no matter if you're "BCS" eligible or not... look at Southern Miss, Houston, South Florida, etc. They recruit great athletes because the coaches teach their players to compete on all levels.

South Florida is a BCS conference team...I'm just saying lol

Nebraska will finish better than the rest. LSU is next and is an eight- or nine-win team. Kansas State will win four or five games.

Sure, it's a big win for us to beat a Big 12 team, but they suck. Then a middle of the pack SEC team beat us by 28, then a pretty good Big 12 team beat us by 55. We should be striving for better than that.

The winning percentage is less of a concern to me because of the situation we constantly find ourselves in having to play money games to support our lack of private funding and anemic athletic budget. Also, the first few years was simply trying to get past the position that Baldwin put us in so I don't fault him for that.

Yeah, definitely. Baldwin sucked, Bustle is undoubtedly better, but is he good enough? I appreciate what he's done to take us to this point, I just think we may need someone else to take us to the next level.
