Definitely not a good night for us. We just need to gut this one out and be men about it. I'm not sure what you mean about identity issues. Nebraska is turning out to be, by far, the best team we'll face this year. I was pretty concerned about this game when I saw them play VT. VT is extremely physical and athletic... and Nebraska took them on head to head. The rankings this early in the season are not anywhere near close... just like Ole Miss doesn't belong in the top 20... Nebraska may end up in the top 15 or better by season's end.

Maybe not the correct phrase, but what I mean by identity issue is we haven't scored a touchdown in the last 8 quarters. I understand we played/are playing 2 top tier teams, but to not be able to score, and to (seemingly) have no explosive offensive playmakers is alarming. Then Mcquire comes in and essentially runs the Jerry Babb offense, which worked great until we fumbled it. I have a feeling we will see many offensive styles this season. That may be the best strategy.

I've always felt like we should go with the best strategy that works to win the most games. We just got the ball on our 1 yard line. That gives us the opportunity to rack up 99 yards and a score. Excellent.

after watching this game, I think the rankings are backwards. I have to say the commentators have been very even keeled and not jacklegs like certain other commentators we have heard. Also, the fans while spirited look very well behaved not like other toothless rednecks that weve seen

I think you nailed it.

Lot of things I like about this team but they have to put it all together to win the SBC. Can't continue the inconsistency.
