A lot were not. I have yet to meet a Saints fan that didn't think that Delhomme should have replaced Brooks. When he was in the Superbowl everyone but one LSU fan (I believe they had a player on New England) were pulling for the home state boy Jake.

I feel really bad for Jake. You know the difference between Jake and Aaron Brooks? Jake has more talent and character than that joker ever had. Once Aaron got his check he became the smiling interception machine. Jake looked like he was in great emotional and physical pain the other night. I'm convinced his playing days are not over. A guy with that kind of heart is not going to let that be his last game and a guy like that is not easy to find.

RCAJUN90, please go read the saints board and tell me this is not true? I know what I read last night and today on the Saints Report board. It's not debatable, and its sad. I know Carolina is a divisional rival and I don't pull for them unless they are playing Atlanta or Tampa Bay. I dislike those teams more then Carolina from the stand point of Saints history.
But I can still wish Jake well in his peformance when Carolina looses games. Even though I dislike Tampa Bay, I have never wished Michael Clayton to wash out or have a bad game.

I'm not a Chicago Bears fan, but I always pull for Peanut Tillman. I'm not a Steeler fan, but I always pull for Ike Taylor to play well. And I'm not a Patriot fan, but I have always wished Kevin, Green and Gay play well. It seems some people in Louisiana can't do the same for Jake Delhomme.

I'm not questioning that some are happy that Jake failed. It is obvious following and reading your link. You have to realize that message boards represent a small percentage of fans. I know of many season ticket holders that still remember the Dome chanting for Jake when the smiling interception machine was messing up the Saints. Those same folks were pulling for Carolina in the Superbowl just because of Jake.
