And McNeese lost the series this weekend to NSU. Which was 12-14 going into the series.

So much Parity in the sport outside of the top 5-7 Super teams.

Alyson said the standard was to sweep every SBC series. The Cajuns didn't even win the series against USM. Parity doesn't matter the Cajuns should have won the series no if's, and's, or butts. Basically your saying it's OK to lose the series since only the top 5-7 super teams matter anyway. I'm sorry but the STANDARD is the STANDARD no matter what. Losing a series to USM isn't the standard and isn't ok.

I did. I know what your trying to say without trying to say it. Read what I said the Standard is the Standard and losing to USM is unexceptable. I notice you haven't commented on the other thread that I started. It would be great to get your point of view. I do enjoy your feedback.

I actually said exactly what I was trying to say. In relation to your specific comment about it not being about money and that SLU and McNeese doing great without “more funding”, I simply pointed out that McNeese (which is better on paper at a minimum and arguably the better team) dropped the series this weekend to NSU. Which, one would think should not happen and certainly not ok by McNeese Coaches, players and def fans I’m sure.

That was exactly what I was trying to say. Not that I think it’s OK to lose the series to USM or that the “standard” shouldn’t be the “standard”. Simply saying that type of thing happens.

As a fan, you just have to pray for the safety and success of the young ladies and hope that everyone takes the lessons learned and go to work for the next series.

I typically give my opinions on general topics. I will never give my opinion or a “grade” regarding any coach or player, especially in a public forum as I want them all to succeed. I know that’s not always a reality but it’s my wish for them all.

I do respect EVERY single opinion on here and enjoy reading. Whether I agree or not it’s why I continue to read. Believe me, there are many many comments and topics I PERSONALLY agree with and there are some comments and/or topics I think are way off. If you will notice, I’ve never given those thoughts here, nor will I especially when it comes to a player or a coach. Not knocking anyone for doing so, that’s what this site is for and it’s each and every one’s right on here.
