She is mediocre coach at best. Get used to crap softball. Our glory days are over as it stands now. Run ruled by USM, let that sink in. We don't have pitching to compete at this level on a consistent basis.

The run rule game doesn't bother me, the not winning the series is a huge concern, especially after not playing a mid week game. This team should have been rested and never really made adjustment off the USM pitcher. They better figure things out next weekend with good competition coming to Lafayette. In reference to the coaching that you called out. A long time Cajun fan and big supporter wasn't happy when Habetz was hired. I asked him why and he said quote "All she ever was at Alabama was an Outfielder and first base coach and she doesn't specialize in anything"

Down 5-1 with one out and runner on 1B and they bunt. All this bunting just to give up outs is for the birds. Someone in the Lafayette media needs to grow a set of balls and calls this out at the monday presser!

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team struck first on Sunday, March 15, but Southern Miss answered with a steady offensive push to claim a 9-1 win in five innings and take the Sun Belt Conference series finale at the USM Softball Complex in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Yes all UL sports need more money. No USM softball doesn't have me money or talent than UL. Lack of funds isnt hurting SLU or McNeese.

And McNeese lost the series this weekend to NSU. Which was 12-14 going into the series.

So much Parity in the sport outside of the top 5-7 Super teams.
