I would not be shocked by anything in College Football now. Everything is on the table. It is the wild wild west.

Worst case scenario, we roll with DB. We can compete for the West with him. I'm more worried about the RB and DL positions.
There is nothing that DB has shown us to this point to suggest that he could lead us to any type of consistent success.

That's the least of our worries.....

I would have to agree with you. Not sure what they are basing their assessment on DB that he could lead the Cajuns to the west title. I'm sure he is a great kid. Could he possibly switch positions to get more playing time? However, he has not shown us anything that gives me any hope of a 2 win season as him as the QB.

He'll end up at SLU or Nicholls

Oof! Better strap in.....I see a lot of 5-7 seasons and the occasional 7-6 seasons...if we're lucky. But hey.....at least we kept the culture, right?

I agree with you in that the talent level on paper seems off in comparison to pre CMD days. The size of ULMs line was notable but I think the injuries to our OL and the rest of the team in general this season was the primary factor for our results. I was worried about our lack of size on the DL before the season and that's one area that must be addressed with recruiting from HS and the portal. Let's see what happens over the next few days.
Like your assessment here, pretty accurate and truthful!

While I'm sure the young men signed up are fine individuals, I'm curious what other schools offered them a position. Where does one find these things out?
