Unbelievable how much money is being talked about here. The money is what has soured me on college athletics. I guess it's always been there but now it's just brazen.

Where ever he goes they will want instant success, and they won’t get it. Then all the wolves will turn on him and have to pay 50 million to get rid of him. That is the cycle, thats how it works. Even early on when Nick Saben was at Alabama they lost to ULM. Would that fly at LSU in this day & time???

My hope is this escalates so quickly that those with the bucks realize the ROI is not worth it. Before I die, or quit being a college sports fan, something that used to be amateur sports

And people wonder why Nick Saban retired (quit). He has a genius football mind and I guess the atmosphere just turned him off. I really don't blame him.

“Despite comments last month from Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry critical of high-priced coaching contracts, the state’s top elected official has blessed the university’s lucrative pursuit of Kiffin, led by newly appointed athletic director Verge Ausberry.”

    From Ross Dellenger.

As long as state money is not a guarantee I guess he is ok with it.

Kiffin can’t tell recruits he wants to win a national championship if he’s willing to leave a team currently in position to win a national championship

I hope TSAB hires someone from a playoff team and demands they skip playoff to come start coaching early, more backlash ensues

As long as he thinks it makes him look good for future votes is all that he's worried about

The whole thing about taxpayers being responsible for Brian Kelly's buyout was just an excuse to push out Tsab's AD who is a political adversary . Nothing more nothing less . Kelly would have never been fired if the money wasn't pledged
