Years ago Chaminade used to pull off some pretty historic upsets vs D1 schools. Including in 1982 taking down #1 UVA.

Master P, also known by his real name, Percy Miller, is the Privateers' President of Basketball Operations and assistant coach. His alias with the team is "Coach P.

They will continue to win as Master P has bought a bunch of players for them.
They better enjoy it this year, but now that LSU controls them they won't let them have much success at the D1 level. I am sure when they change them to LSU New Orleans, they will make them go down to NAIA like LSUA and LSUS. Can't be having a team in Louisiana better than TSAB.

I don't know about LSU forcing them down. I do know having someone like Master P in your corner and supporting your program financially is a huge positive. I know we have increased our NIL for basketball but I doubt it matches what UNO has been able to do.

Are we being out NILed by UNO and McNeese?

Look, the collegiate, athletic world doesn't even remotely resemble the world that Doc A faced. We need to change the way we treat funding accordingly.

The future and present day model is letting the booster groups, like the TAF be a separate entity that pays all the big bills. If we want to be serious about competing in this new environment, we MUST free the RCAF from Martin Hall supervision.
