Look, the collegiate, athletic world doesn't even remotely resemble the world that Doc A faced. We need to change the way we treat funding accordingly.

The future and present day model is letting the booster groups, like the TAF be a separate entity that pays all the big bills. If we want to be serious about competing in this new environment, we MUST free the RCAF from Martin Hall supervision.
A quick perusal of their roster doesnt make it seem like they outbid anyone. a few transfers from no-name schools, and a lot of international players. Good work on shaping up the diamonds in the rough, i suppose more important than money in this case

The majority(over $20M) of TSAB NIL funds is coming from the school not boosters. For comparison, UL put $250K of funds for NIL into men's basketball. BM has control over RCAF champion funds.

Why do you think our season ticket pricing model has been changed--higher per seat donation and lower base ticket price? The per seat fee goes straight to the RCAF. All premium season tickets for football costs $150 including tickets to the suites. This goes to the athletic budget.

Speaking of the seats in OLOL stadium, they suck. I was expecting similar type seats as we have in the grand stands at the Tigue. Wider and more leg room. Very disappointing.

Reading thru Tigerploppings while convalescing, came across an interesting tidbit. One of the additions to Tiger Stadium does not tie into the original stadium. Allegedly that was funded by TAF. Then the ticket sales revenue from that addition goes directly to TAF each season. And there is the classic FOLLOW THE MONEY. Athletic department via an apparent legal loophole gets unrestricted money thru an independent TAF.

Was in one of the many BK threads, not even going try to find it.
