I've been saying this for a while now and most of you want me banned from this site. Who wants to disagree with me now?

I have been saying this too for several years in various degrees. However, it is with a lot of reluctance and pain that I hope we move on from des -I really like him and always hoped he would succeed. When he was initially chosen though I thought woah - that is a bit early. Maybe 4-5 years but not right after Napier.
Again it is with a lot of sadness -but we have to find a new coach.

Whoever is named next president will decide who the AD will be, whether that is our current one or someone else and then a decision will be made with Mike. I cant see any decision on Mike until at least after the 27 season. He has until then to turn it around.

Got people posting about the optics of spending money to fire Des while we're $20 mil in the hole...

What will the optics be when they break ground on the east side renovation of a stadium we cant fill anyway?

I know the response is "well that is state money", and Im curious if its the same state that just gutted higher Ed budgets across the board?

A near replica of the west side in the east side of the stadium. It’s being funded by the state. It will house the athletic department and athletic academic support center.

That stadium could be filled by next season if the administration really wanted it filled.

I have zero faith in the state coming thru with the funding. Especially if the state bails out UL. Parochial local politics.

Has the east side even been designed and engineered yet? Plans ready to go to bid?

That was an issue with the west side. Big misfire on actual starting of demolition because no plans in hand.
