Nobody is going to be a dominant force in the SBC. Why cant you guys figure that out? The best teams will be the ones who manage to fill out a roster with upper classmen who manage to sneak thru the portal or NIL window, and their coach will be one good season away from a promotion.

The same will happen (has really already happened) with baseball, softball, etc.

The "have" teams will continue to pump out players that had P4 potential (at all positions) as well.

We have a habit of holding onto coaches too long letting apathy set in. Bustle, Hud, now Desormeaux. Coach Des would have to fire himself to get fired. We've also done it the previous two men's basketball coaches. Seems to be the real cULture.

That was awful tonight. You had every opportunity to win that game. Des can’t call plays anymore. You can’t figure out that running is working and you just abandon it?

He cannot call plays and run the team on game days. He is in so far over his head and this Admin can't see it. Marlin all over again. Lets hope they don't let him completely destroy the fanbase like Marlin did.

All this posturing about who we hired as a coach when Napier walked out the door with many of our prize possessions and the system changed to NIL and tree transfers without sitting out no university similarly situated to Louisiana will ever have the players to win consistently
