It is $5 and it is used as a fund raiser for the sport! How dare them try to make some NIL/budgetary money when their budget is being gutted

Yeah, how much did they make? $75?
They love to nickel and dime the loyalists (only people that want to watch an off-season practice). They would have made more money with an open gate and $2 Nattys.

I don't know about baseball, but softball had maybe 400 in attendance. $2K is still not much, but with the budget cuts, every little bit helps.

$2K and whatever they made on concessions. I'm down with that and I give to their funding category. It all helps.

We may have a bit more power this year. Left after six. Didn’t see any slapping. Good speed and some nice defensive plays. Didn’t face very good pitching today. We’ll see about our pitching.

Not one pitcher for Mississippi Gulf Coast threw over 54 mph.

Think about this. The two pitchers in the final game of the softball Little League World Series for 12-year-olds threw harder and more effective than any pitcher did tonight against the Cajuns.

So, there really is nothing that can be taken away from tonight's game to indicate how improved the Cajuns may be at the plate.
    It was simply batting practice.

The only games that will give a hint as to how much the Cajuns may have improved from last year are the two games against McNeese.
