Another game today for those who are interested.
We may have a bit more power this year. Left after six. Didn’t see any slapping. Good speed and some nice defensive plays. Didn’t face very good pitching today. We’ll see about our pitching.
Not one pitcher for Mississippi Gulf Coast threw over 54 mph.
Think about this. The two pitchers in the final game of the softball Little League World Series for 12-year-olds threw harder and more effective than any pitcher did tonight against the Cajuns.
So, there really is nothing that can be taken away from tonight's game to indicate how improved the Cajuns may be at the plate.
It was simply batting practice.
The only games that will give a hint as to how much the Cajuns may have improved from last year are the two games against McNeese.
