Albineaux can now be spotted on the thruway heading towards I-10!
This is what grassroots looks like. Every month I’m seeing more people I have never met use AL to show their Ragin Cajun pride. Truly feels me with so much hope for the future of our university.
Even anti-gator folks should appreciate how cool that is to see (everyone knows that spot).
If i were you i would not announce what game or anything, when the suit is ready they might be looking, just show up, hopefully just put the suit on in the Cajun Field area and start going to different tailgate spots.
Take pictures, high five kids and fans etc.
If its me thats what i would do.
Let the fans experience it, how cool it would be.
Why not agree? It is the perfect mascot for UL. We have live gators on campus at the Swamp, our football stadium is called The Swamp, and the caricature and costume are great. Kids and all fans would love it. To me, the only question is the color of the gator, white, red or green.
And, it doesn't matter that Florida also has a gator mascot and their stadium is also called The Swamp. Doesn't seem to matter to Clemson and LSU that are both Tigers and both stadiums are called Death Valley.
So, obviously, I am all for the gator mascot. What are the objections to it and what alternative mascot would you recommend?
