State property.
Tailgating pads where you can't spend the night, should not cost more than a camping pad at a state park.
Geaux Cajuns
Look at the bright side. The car show probably will never come back at Cajun Field since COVID gave them the new model of business...hold back inventory elsewhere and the take it or leave it attitude when cars arrive on the transport truck.
Making way more money than holding inventory and a car show.
There should 100% be an area within the gates that is open to wild West style open tailgating. Put it along Bertrand or across from UHC, but that is what's missing. We need the people turned off by having to pay a fee to cook and drink in a dusty, hot, ugly parking lot. Who the hell wants to do that for $100+/ game? It's why UL tailgating is now awful and depressing. It's the same old, sad faces and diminishing every year.
If you did it like i am talking about the University can still make money, if you were in that area, you would likely grab a 7 dollar beer and a sandwich for 10 bucks etc. still make money off of it. I wouldnt have to do nothing but bring myself. Thats almost worth it to me i dont have to go to the store, or bring a pit etc.
Call it the Festival model, which we are all use to.
Well they just announced that gameday music will be LOUDER this year lol
