Tailgating Behind the Bar at PayPal Park
San Jose Earthquakes home games offer a unique tailgating experience centered around North America’s largest outdoor bar, located at the open end of PayPal Park (formerly Avaya Stadium). This area blends the energy of a traditional tailgate with the vibe of a European-style fan zone.
What Makes It Special
• The bar sits directly behind the goal at the open end of the stadium, creating a seamless connection between pregame and in-game atmosphere
• Fans can tailgate in the adjacent Ford Tailgate Lot or Parking Lot 3, then walk straight into the bar area without losing momentum
Cost & Access
• Tailgating lots: $29 per vehicle
• Bar access: Included with your game ticket
• Food trucks and pop-up vendors line the area, offering a low-barrier entry point for fans who want to show up, hang out, and enjoy the game without a full tailgate setup
That is another wonderful idea!! Tailgating Lots 30 bucks!!!
Awesome idea have designated tailgate lots where people can pay to tailgate next to vehicle! You know within reason.
Damn dont watch SEC Country on Netflix!! Damn they start off with TSAB!!
Where could we do 30 dollar tailgate parking areas? Just as long as you not interrupting the flow of traffic!
One thing I’ll never understand about this fanbase is why yall get so caught up on people “complaining.” Have you people ever owned, operated, managed or worked in a business? Let alone dealt with the public on a daily basis? People fricking complain. It is what it is. It’s part of the deal. If the elder statesmen of this fanbase, the admin, the media people or the fundraisers don’t like it, go work in another profession where there is limited contact with humans. If you want to keep your cushy, fake job in Collegiate Athletics, S T H U and deal with a little bǐtchin.’ A fanbase that complains is a fanbase that cares enough to engage. That’s a POSITIVE thing but all I ever hear or read is bǐtchin about bǐtchin.
So tiresome.
