Thread: Fat Pat's: going down the tubes

Default Fat Pat's: going down the tubes

I went to Fat Pat's Saturday night. It was awful. The prices are high, but the service & the food were awful. It's a shame because I tried to speak with one of the owners privately about it, but it seems as though they don't give a rat's @$$ about their customers any more. They only care about opening new stores & trying to make fat bank off their customers. And I've been eating there since the beginning, or ever there was a Fat Pats. I don't look for them to survive much longer with that as their new business model.

    Never been.

Unfortunately happening a lot these days with our local staples.

I will say though, since Ground Patti reopened, I’ve spent way too much time there. Service has been on point, price is about average and the food is even better than it was before.

This seems like a great spot to complain about a local restaurant. We ate at the Breaux Bridge location a few weeks ago and didn't have any issues like what you're mentioning. Honestly, the food never was really that great but the kids like it so we go when we can. We've also always had good service at all the locations.

Going to have to give the Patti another shot.

[Redacted my Fat Pat observations as I don't want to pile on. Wish them the best.]

I've been to the Broussard location many times. Food was OK, nothing great or very good. Service has been fair to poor. I don't go there any longer.

Having said that, I did go to Chris's Poboys today on Pinhook for lunch with my son. The service as excellent and the food was very good which is typical for them.

That's good to know. I passed by it today and told myself we needed to pop back in soon.

They never miss. Might have the best gumbo in Lafayette

I love Chris's. 1/2 poboy and cup of gumbo is always the move.
