I'm assuming this is the one you meant. From my recollection, this is one of the RCAF perks that disappeared over the years.

You used to see 'em across Acadiana. Now, none. So, yea the RCAF plates are no more and the State of Louisiana gives UL the worst plate possible for the other end of the vehicle.

Wouldn't the design have to come from UL?

I liked them, but it is possible they used up every possible color combination. Maybe they could go to every other year, or make each differemt year a different sport

I guess. But it's the worst plate there is. Looks like it was designed in B.R.

It would only make too much sense to have the usual "Louisiana" font at the top of the plate.

As for the hot wheels flaming circle like a fricking circus logo? There is no way in hell someone at UL said "Oh yea, that's the best one (hot wheels logo) to put right there, ah yea. F that. It's even worse than that "I'm Cajun and I'm proud!" license plate. F that.

Out of all the Louisiana colleges, we have the worst one. 2nd biggest school in the State. And some douche in BR is gonna make our plate. F that.

It wasn’t designed in BR…it was designed on my laptop. Because the LA plate is a direct ripoff of the Texas plate (which indeed originated in my laptop).

At the time (at least 15 years ago), we weren’t suing the FDL much. So the hot wheels logo was the best we had. I’ve asked multiple times to change it out to the FDL, but no traction.

    Good, now we're getting somewhere.

Regular ol' "Louisiana" at the top, in that state font. FDL on the side of #s and a slick "Ragin Cajuns" under the numbers. Vermillion and White and we're good.

This is what the Texas one looks like. We just need to replace hot wheels with FDL

Drop those red bars and write "Louisiana" in red, in that font that's been on Louisiana plates forever. Kill the hot wheels and drop in a FDL. Keep the "Ragin' Cajuns" but white out that damn pepper. Vermillion and White only.

    I think we got something.

Edit: Even better, lay down the Cajuns script at the bottom.
