Thread: RCAF plates

  1. #1

    Default RCAF plates

What ever happened to the tremendously popular RCAF plates you used to see all over town?

History: In 2017 I was working on the Verot School Rd. project. 1 in 5 vehicles had a Ragin' Cajuns plate on the front end.

Today: NO RCAF plates whatsoever. 1 in 15 rides have a Cajuns plate at all.

Of course a bunch of us have this plate. But if you think we can't do better than this, son you haven't been paying attention. This has to be the worst plate in College Football.

    That is all.

I had the old plate with the Fleur De Lis. Had it replaced once because it was very faded. Second plate faded as well to the point I got pulled over by the police. Tried actually painting it for a while (yeah your not supposed to do that). Finally gave up and just went back to a regular plate because there was no way I was sporting that flaming logo.

Yep. The simple red and black Fleur plate from the 2000s was 100x better.

That b.s. flaming logo garbage won't die.

I had the old fleur de lis license plate and loved it. It was consistent with both our academic and athletic branding. I had to replace it with the circular hot wheels logo too and hate it. The hot wheels logo is too busy to read and the orange flame is yellow.

I finally got me a new 4x4 and you couldn't pay me to put that plate on the rear end. I take that back, I'd put it on for $1000.

I saved a few of the old RCAF plates. I just got a new truck and I will pull out one of those. But my stock is running low now!

I have the version before that and so far after several years and cars it hasn’t faded yet.

I also do not want the current hot wheels version
