Tech has multiple billionaire alums, almost all of whom live and work in the neighborhood of the Permian Basin. Hell, they even got a $200,000,000 donation from a non-alum owned Guthrie County ranch because the cowhands working there routinely sent their kids to Tech. Y'all keep thinking Texas Tech is small time. Money has never been an issue there; recruiting city kids to come to Lubbock to live for 4 years is. I like Lubbock, but it ain't Party Central.
