If you were Coach Glasco with a collective at your disposal wanting so bad to win a NC in Softball, would you not go out and get the best players their money can buy? Would seem like he’s not doing what he was hired for if he’s not.

If we had this sort of money pool at our disposal, would we not expect Coach Habetz to do the same?
If you are that good at raising money, why couldnt he raise any here?

Because UL doesn't have a billionaire alumnus willing to pony up big NIL money. We also don't have Patrick Mahomes as an alumnus ex football player.

Tech has multiple billionaire alums, almost all of whom live and work in the neighborhood of the Permian Basin. Hell, they even got a $200,000,000 donation from a non-alum owned Guthrie County ranch because the cowhands working there routinely sent their kids to Tech. Y'all keep thinking Texas Tech is small time. Money has never been an issue there; recruiting city kids to come to Lubbock to live for 4 years is. I like Lubbock, but it ain't Party Central.

A good salesman could sell ice to an eskimo.... "hey i heard you guys were interested in softball. Im sorry to hear that your school isnt actively involved in the sport, let me tell you about my team, that was on the forefront of the growth of the sport and has been going to the world series for over 30 years"

We don’t have a John Sellers. That’s been stated here many times.
