Didn't quite get there in year 1 but came awfully close. Doubling down on year 2

If you were Coach Glasco with a collective at your disposal wanting so bad to win a NC in Softball, would you not go out and get the best players their money can buy? Would seem like he’s not doing what he was hired for if he’s not.

If we had this sort of money pool at our disposal, would we not expect Coach Habetz to do the same?
There is a right and wrong way to do it. Glasco is doing it the wrong way. Coach Aly has morals and values and would only do it the right way. Glasco will be in a bind when top programs just stop scheduling his team.

I think we might be applying 2005 morals to 2025

Nothing preventing "NIL Agents" from contacting players.

The problem is the ncaa just threw the gate wide open, so there's no real right or wrong anymore. At least that's how I'm reading it...

Now that 99% of what was under the table is now a fine dining experience on top the table, morals and values are the main course. As much as the whole TTU thing is sickening, it does have a great dash of sarcasm coming from those A2 programs that have been doing this for years. TTU only bumped the payroll bar way up.

This might be true in the next 10 years.

We get the same scheduling results regardless (maybe not in softball though)

Great point: The final scene of The Untouchables features Ness being asked what he'll do when Prohibition is repealed. His response, "I think I'll have a drink,"

Ridiculous loophole..... reminds me of "analysts" that arent coaches. But maybe can double as NIL agents now
