……think the fans help but can add so much more….the playing of the Alma mater with a packed stadium of students and alumni raising the right arm with the UL showing forth with the hand sign…..chills to all!!!……and the fight song conclusion “Geaux UL”!!!!!

Football players started using that in 99-00. It gradually caught on

At media day 2002 not a single football player or coach knew about it. If it was active with football players Tillman would not have been showing the sign he did. Much less the coach.
I showed Tillman after I took this picture, it didn't catch on right away.
