Serious question, how many schools in the SBC have a mascot but still deal with the same fan engagement issue as we do?

Yes, a mascot would be nice to have, but i dont believe its going to improve fan engagement as much as some do. Let me state again, im all for having a mascot..before i get called a hater.

Cajuns were also leading the SBC conference that season and undefeated at home. Two completely different levels of excitements between those seasons.

Average that year was 3,174. So attendance double with a chicken on the sideline.

That means 50% were going to see the chickem not the basketball game!!

about 3100, but the Marshall game was when team was in the middle of their best basketball of season. Thats the main reason for that highly attended crowd.

didnt say anything was marsall. Team was hot and contending for conference title. That accounts for about 95% of that. Have the chicken or AL or both some up to next home game and see if they get a boost in attendance.
