People here are freaking out about NIL. I'm actually thinking this could be a chance for the mid-majors to exploit the situation.
The big schools don't have limitless money, everyone has a limit. And the P4 are going to quickly have a lot of buyer's remorse: they are paying big bucks, and some of those players won't pan out.
There is an opportunity here for the mid-majors and FCS schools to work together, and bleed the big programs dry.
….As private Christian Schools have gotten money like the big Public’s….they haven’t met the real challenge as the Saudi schools come into play…..just catching bits from the golf situation, you haven’t “seen noting”……there is nothing hindering their entrance into the market that I can imagine….Saudi U!!!

This whole situation has been bothering me. Why would the Independence Bowl pick Tech, when there are so many big-name schools who could give Army a good game?
Today it hit me. We've discussed how the Independence Bowl has this political tie with Tech.
I am beginning to wonder if this isn't a reflection of just how much financial trouble Tech is in. The Independence Bowl has a $1 million payout. Tech needs money so bad that they will undergo embarrassment on International TV to get it.
And their tie with the Independence Bowl is so strong, that the Bowl will take a beating on ratings to help Tech out.
