We wont use NIL money to bring him in or barely any. Des has stated on numerous occasions that we will use NIL to RETAIN our talent not to bring guys in.

I can remember being in 5th grade and attending my first STM game. Jamie Howard was the first high school player I started following in the box scores (back when the Advertiser ran a sports section worth a damn). Wished he had been more successful in college.

I would love to see Walker come here, win the starting job in camp competition, and be the 2025 SBC Player of the Year.

That said, absolutely she should have to come in and compete against our other QBs in camp. Coach Dez in no way should promise him a starting gig simply for showing up on campus.
