Thread: 2009 UL Football Schedule

THE most important games on next year's schedule don't include Southern, Kansas State or LSU. Sure they have importance but they are not THE most important games.

    Mr. Bustle,
Please circle the games against Florida Atlantic and Troy. Beating BOTH of those programs next year will make sure that the Cajuns continue upward momentum. We have to prevail in our conference before we can prevail elsewhere.

All coachspeak and fanspeak aside, the most important game is our first.

Because if we lose to Southern, Bustle should be fired on the spot.

And I think Bustle understands that.

I think we need to take the attitude that every single one of them is important. One thing that always frustrated me with Coach was his constant preaching (usually after doing poorly in non-conference) that conference started the "real" season. While I understand the truth that you could lose all your OOC games and still get to the New Orleans Bowl by winning the Belt (as North Denton did) it seems to leave the perception that the OOC games are "throw aways" or not that important. It made me wonder if that mindset didn't creep into the player's attitudes towards the games just a bit.

Southern wouldn't be bad either, because I'm sure that will be a festive atmosphere.

Damn I didn't realize that with this schedule we will have no off week. If we get any injuries that could be bad.

Ummm ... I think if you check Nov. 7 (opposite LSU's game vs. Bama), you might find an "Open Date".

Or do we have to play them? If so, that could be a loss to a Div-1AA school again for us!
