Obviously that number isn't taking into account a venue with high temps and direct sun.

Sodexo didn't even come close on this one. No excuse for that and their failure wasn't just an inconvenience it put peoples health in jeopardy.

And those 36 heat related injuries are just what was serious enough to be reported. You can easily triple or quadruple that number.
Fact. Years back, we’re at a hot/humid UL game, Mrs. Zoom looked at me and said “home or hospital”. You can easily double that number.

There should be more than one of these water stations. Should have one in each corner.

During the 1st half the usher would not let my son into Sec 105 because he didn’t have a phone with ticket info. He went another way to find me.

LSU had similar problems and ended up treating over 100 people. They did however put out a notice about the heat early on and advised fans each person could bring in one sealed water bottle up to 32 oz.

Maybe there is a chance to get some momentum behind this and push the networks to consider the heat when they are doing their schedules. You can't account for every instance but it is a pretty sure bet that midday games in the deep south are going to be a cause for concern.

I went to the first home game last year. You and es Quito can’t help your ___. Sorry if either of you don’t like that I love my alma mater and will always be here to support it, it’s coaches, it’s players and everything Louisiana.

1st time perhaps ever that I left game at halftime. Even having a fast pass, it was a miserable experience trying to get anything to drink or eat for my boys.

Absolutely amazing there wasn’t water only stations in either Endzone.

Another problem with concessions is that Sodexho puts out that all concessions are cashless ! That’s not true , all private vendors take card and cash and Mr. Vic’s peanuts is cash only , so they need to advertise it correctly.

I'm glad you brought this up. I went to the new draft beer garden and saw the guy in front of me paying with cash, so I said, I thought Cajun Field was cashless. They said , oh no a lot of venders take cash. I was a little surprised because of an earlier press release
