No disrespect intended to you sir, but I hope you see this thread. This is not new to this year with the renovations. This is year after year after year with awful gameday operations. We BEG people to support us and when they do this is how we treat our community. It’s frickin embarrassing man. People say “the community didn’t support even when we were winning.” We never stopped doing things like this…even when we were winning!

I’m convinced these issues persist because the people with the power to make a difference don’t care enough to do so. And so next year they’ll be tucked away in their beautiful new suites and the rest of us will continue to put up with this nonsense, until we decide it’s not worth it anymore.
I see it, and no argument here.

Was actually pleasantly surprised to see the attendance at 22k. But not surprised to read about the s__tshow regarding the lack of water and long lines. And you do start to get the impression that we're always going to USL these things. What a mess.

We tried to buy water in 2nd quarter and was told they were out. The stadium may not have been completely out but different areas were out well before 2nd half.

On top of that once you are told we are out, no one is going wait another 30 minutes in a different line for water.

Seeing some try to justify the shortfall is disheartening.

It means things won't change long term.

there is no excuse for running out of water

getting on here and posting obnoxiously wrong information just to infame the situation has no excuse either

rouses, Albertsons, walmart are not far away. I'm sure Shilling stocks water. Looks like early on whoever was in charge of water could have seen they were short and called or sent out for more, maybe

I'm hearing it was misquoted and the actual amount was 17,000. Which still doesn't solve the issue at hand.

There were also two cooling stations with free water served in disposable cups. Which apparently wasn't well communicated.

The numbers really don't matter that much. Sodexo has under performed for a very long time.

Next time we have a daytime game in September we should advertise it as at Our Lady of Lourdes stadium and triage center.

Seeing the shortfall numbers inflated or deflated serves no purpose.

People will only remember how it made them feel at the time.

If you thought my post was justifying running out of water, you have comprehension issues.

6000 is much different than 17000. Again, no justification, but facts matter

The Advocate article was posted 2+ days ago. Do we not have a good enough relationship with our official paper to get a revision or retraction in that timeframe?

Exactly. Every line was extremely long. Bouncing around to different lines after standing in the first one for 30 plus minutes in direct sun is not realistic

Luckily a friend brought me a bottle of hot water in the second quarter before they ran out. I then was able to fill it up 3 times at halftime . If not for that I would have likely bailed like most of the remaining crowd did

BTW- below is a good example of adjusting to the situation at
Hand/ making an exception vs. what we had happen
