Meanwhile, Cajun pitching did fine against USM at home last week. USM averages 8.7 runs/game.

My point is that Cajun pitching has fared fine against "above average hitting teams" when not in a hitter's park as the road team.

It’s crazy this pitching staff can have a run of games looking like one of the best in program history. Then all the sudden look like there ain’t a scholarship between them.

I think it is more good hitting teams, on the road, in hitter's ball parks. Big difference.

I mean if we make a Regional we need these guys to be able to perform on the road against well above average hitting teams. May not be in a hitter’s park, but it doesn’t have to be when you give up 11 free passes, make errors, have passed balls/wild pitches, balks, etc. I mean I hope I’m overreacting to the Nth degree, but you have to look at how you perform under the brightest lights. Swept in Houston. 1-2 at Coastal with a complete meltdown. Turn the lights back on for one of the most anticipated G5 series in the country, and we are gonna be lucky to not be run ruled night one. I get good teams have nightmare nights. Having them consistently in huge situations is a problem.
