    It's embarrassing, really.

how would you go about setting that up? PA Guy, "hey cajun fans, we eclipsed the 3,500 mark, which triggers our stand up tradition, lets get on our feet"

not you, but for a fan base that gripes about a lack of tradition in anything we do, we want to punt the ones that we have in place because in this specific instance it doesnt look great.
Just stop it all-together. It's dumb, tired, and forced. Tuna doing the "come on you can do better than that" routine in every venue is also played out. Stop!

We won’t have 3000 people at any games this year. It’s sad to say but there is no excitement around this years team, why is that? We just won the title and the very next year we can’t get 2000 people at the game. I have heard all the excuses as to why not, but no one can come up with a real solution.
If the University doesn't give a ____z about BB, why should community?
Keeping a coach too long, maybe?

That’s a dumb tradition though. It makes people pull for the other team to score

  6. UL Basketball Re: JAN 4 - JMU @ Cajundome

Only if they don’t score by the 19 minute mark, most people like standing up for a minute or so.

Get rid of Marlin. That's where we start.

WKU vs UL in the CajunDome 2003. Attendance was 9121. They had a free crawfish boil for the students before the game. You had to be there to see it. We lost 69-66 but it was the best atmosphere I have ever been to at the Cajun Dome. I was a student.

I remember that very well. Student section was packed all the way to the roof. I skipped the crawfish boil so that I could get good seats
