We won’t have 3000 people at any games this year. It’s sad to say but there is no excitement around this years team, why is that? We just won the title and the very next year we can’t get 2000 people at the game. I have heard all the excuses as to why not, but no one can come up with a real solution.
I think that post was made in jest Brad. I don't think there has been anything like that said by the university.

    How so?

We're struggling to get north of 1k so far this year..

Compared to last night, 3k would feel like a March Madness game

Last time I can remember a ranked team was Nevada and Tennessee coming to the Dome. Around 2010. Possibly WKU around the same time.

so only do traditions when people are in the stands? got it.

how would you go about setting that up? PA Guy, "hey cajun fans, we eclipsed the 3,500 mark, which triggers our stand up tradition, lets get on our feet"

not you, but for a fan base that gripes about a lack of tradition in anything we do, we want to punt the ones that we have in place because in this specific instance it doesnt look great.

Why not? At least it would show people that you care about the attendance..

Right now they just carry on their normal programming as if the place is packed l

Everyone knows the solution. But your boy won the ‘ship last year. So the solution was delayed.

Now Marlin will have to go on such a huge run to get the fans back into the dome it’s almost unachievable.

Just stop it all-together. It's dumb, tired, and forced. Tuna doing the "come on you can do better than that" routine in every venue is also played out. Stop!

If the University doesn't give a ____z about BB, why should community?
Keeping a coach too long, maybe?

That’s a dumb tradition though. It makes people pull for the other team to score

Only if they don’t score by the 19 minute mark, most people like standing up for a minute or so.
