Man, after seeing that photo of what was seized by the police, what has transpired, and the fact the police is still investigating, shutting that program down is the only way it will get clean.

Nobody has yet been charged for the actual murder itself.

Coach got the hell out of Dodge, and can’t blame him.

Lawsuit was a given, just surprised it’s that quick. An actual murderer hasn’t been arrested yet.

Said it yesterday, saying again. Shut the program down. Only way to cleanse.

I don't get it. These players need to also learn about loss, grief, and that inevitably we all die. Life goes on.
Yes, it's sad that a friend and teammate died, but there must be something else to this.

A player called his parents that his roommate in a school supplied living arrangement pulled a gun on him. The dad called the coach, who did nothing and then the kid was murdered.

Yeah, just read the latest article... yikes, what a horrible situation. Why the heck did they put a student athlete in an apartment with a roommate that isn't even a student?

I still think that had this happened at top tier P5 school, they would not have shut the program down for the rest of the year, which is really sad. They would have dismissed the coach and any player associated with the situation, named an interim coach, and kept playing.
