Not to mention the other schools on their schedule that now don't have a game to play. Could come down to 1 or more schools not making a bowl game because of it.
They only had FCS (Southland) games left. FCS schools are not eligible for bowl games only the FCS playoffs. I guess it could affect a playoff berth however, but besides Incarnate Word, no one left on their schedule was going to make the FCS playoffs. Sad part is those young men on NSU and on the other teams only have so many college football games to play in their careers. Just a sad situation all the way around.
The lawsuit about to be filed will shed a little light on the situation.
